technologyreview.com/2023/12/15/108… My plan for how to curb the excesses of misinformation and to make sure we have a functioning democracy
@ericschmidt Does it involve chainlink and secure personal data for voting? Sounds like it...
#1 might be the most important but it likely needs incentives. I’d like to see some advertising revenue go to Verified Accounts to reward being verified. I’d also like to be able to filter OUT all Non-Verified users AND their comments. I use my real name, a fairly recent photo and full transparency in my profile. If I have an opinion or share information, I want to be accountable in good times and bad.
@ericschmidt Mr. Schmidt, please explain also how we can better combat malinformation! We need to enlighten ordinary people on how important it is to make sure only the truth circulates. A ministry of truth is going to make us all feel safe.
@ericschmidt It comes with personal responsibility which progressives are trying to eliminate while Dems and Establishment GOP remain mute and flaccid. There should be far more court cases going on now, but we are starting to only find Dem-leanding judges -- this will not do.
@ericschmidt How about stopping election fraud instead ?
@ericschmidt Directionally like this very much. Verified human users with known IP addresses seems like it works very well until you're in a totalitarian regime. Thoughts on exceptions?
@ericschmidt How about I just handle that for myself for you.....I don't need your help...
"My plan for how to curb viewpoints challenging existing progressive hegemony, and to ensure we have a generational autocracy of the elite". Fixed it for ya, Eric. Go. Away.
