We're confident our modular approach to FTQC is the most practical and will succeed quickly and spectacularly, so we're happy to take on DARPA's challenge in QBI and prove our approach to fault-tolerant quantum computing to the world.

On Monday afternoon, we had the first sets of parallel talks from the full range of areas covered by QIP, including but not limited to error correction, algorithms, and cryptography!

qLDPC codes offer efficient storage of quantum information. It is less clear how to use them for fault-tolerant quantum computing in a resource efficient way. In scirate.com/arxiv/2411.033… we show how to obtain logical entangling gates without the use of any additional qubits. 1/5
Think I forgot to specify, the adapter is "universal" in the sense that it can be applied to any quantum LDPC code, and also to any logical qubit within multi-qubit LDPC codeblocks.

This allows us to prove that 3-fold HGP, as well as HGP of 2D manifolds w/ graphs, have a transversal non-Clifford gate. In particular, the product of a 2D hyperbolic lattice w/ an expander graph gives us a [[n,Θ(n),Θ(log(n))]] code with a transversal non-Clifford gate!
