@EssexCricket @Psychadelic37 It does not surprise me that something like this has happened. The idea that racist language or incidents were confined to one club only was wishful thinking. Perhaps not institutional or widespread like Yorkshire, but bound to be instances elsewhere...
@EssexCricket A spineless knee jerk statement. John Faragher has been hung out to dry by John Stephenson. Why not wait until there had been an investigation into what is nothing more than an allegation. This stinks of a certain embittered individual and an establishment yes man. Shameful.
@EssexCricket So not even a hint from the brand new CEO that the case will be investigated and the doubts that exist over the comment made? Also no praise whatsoever for the work done by JF to get the Club to where it is now? Very sad omissions.
@EssexCricket I would like to think that the Club would have given the former Chairman the benefit of the doubt, or at least given a full explanation of this 'isolated incident'; I don't believe the Club or its supporters have ever been 'racist', but we have now been self-branded as such.

@EssexCricket John Faragher has done so much good for Essex Cricket over many years. He denies the allegation. Let's not jump to conclusions. The actual words used and the context are important. In the absence of this information it is impossible to pass judgement at this time.
