Yesterday's ride round the North East. I only got cramp once during the night, but it was an inner thigh b#strd! I'm blaming the 2 glasses of red wine. Should have stuck with Guinness.

A bit of bike work today. Only missing 7 pins from the pedals 🫨 new tyres fitted to the eeb, and I actually took the unicorn out the shed and round to a m8's for a cuppa. First time since building it.
2 hours work tonight cleaning all the bloody bird shit of the car. B#stards dive bombed the crap out off it this afternoon while I was watching them from the office window. I'm sure i saw one f# laughing at me.

Had an interesting gravel ride today. Halfway round, my rear brake seized with a stuck piston-lever. Popped into local bike cafe / mechanic. Left with a titanium sonder camino blinged out in full hope gear. And YES - the wife did notice when I got home 🤕 #wivesareexpensive
And it lives! The bill, which included fork+shock service, new mainline wiring cable, new rear pads, rear derailleur clutch rebuilt, new gear cable. £373 Pretty happy with that. Nice surprise of the x2 shock being completely rebuilt with 2024 parts by fox. #giantreigne
My Bike is currently on the stand at the LBS being put back together 🤪 No idea on cost yet but at least I know I can collect it on Friday and use it this weekend.
