me and who
my soul too deep for meaningless connections
This was so well spoken. I was a part of that show and saw how amazing that painter was but the etiquette and legality behind it all must be upheld. I’m happy that this was handled in this manner. And not bc we’re used to doing it this way, means it’s right!

i refuse to internalize my emotions when im upset and then mask it behind being unnecessarily positive.
An important word! Probably one of the most simple explanations I’ve heard on this topic.

my mommy thought so too 💙
@eyeofscottie I fully comprehend the message conveyed in the video as I have a thorough understanding of the concept of copyright infringement. People must realize that their art is vulnerable to theft and how it can erode the identity of the artist. As a new artist, it is essential
I respect and appreciate Scottie for this. I’ve seen people intentionally create a false narrative around the way he chose to respond to the situation as if he isn’t an artist himself. It’s okay for artists to get inspired and recreate art. Monetizing it is a whole other thing.

@eyeofscottie I really respect the grace you showed when you didn’t have to. You turned it into something educational and positive without malice towards the artist who was at fault in this situation. I’ve always enjoyed your art but knowing this is the type of person you r makes me ❤️ it more
And that’s that on that
💙🦋 well said, artists truly deserve to be credited & compensated for their work.
