US dental care is a SCAM Today, my entire family had our first dentist appointments in Asia We were treated by an Argentinian dentist in China’s richest city This was the best dentist visit of our lives World class office, newest tech, best equipment on the planet The dental cleaning was exceptional We spoke in Spanish the entire time, exchanged contacts and made a new friend Neither the dentist or staff used the visit to sell us on some thousand dollar deep cleaning, crowns or any other dental care In the US most dental visits felt like we were being sold a service for thousands of $$$ We have international health insurance, and today cost $30 for all 3 of us Every time I get any medical treatment abroad, I am shocked by how much better the quality and experience is compared to the US medical system
we could have free healthcare and college education with just the part of the defense budget the Pentagon loses every year. 60% of their budget vanishes every year. shame on us for allowing this to get so far.
@famandfire Come see me then when you’re back in the states my friend. It is sad what is happening to dental care but most dental offices In the us are now corporate owned and the MBAs need the P&Ls to look better.
@famandfire I used to pay $2 for a cleaning in a nice mall in the Philippines, and the cute female Filipina dentist sang lovely songs while she cleaned my teeth. Can't make this shit up, can you?
@famandfire Yes, it's always an up-sale experience. And I hate how they write the figure on paper then slide it across the table for you to read.
