Today is Autism World Acceptance Day. “No two Autisms are the same” I have been blessed to walk along side of madison and learn about the world around her. She has taught me how to love unconditionally and to see the world in diffrent eyes. We as a society have a lot to learn!!

Will this be Terrace location that it’s happening too ? Seems there is less people to sign the justification forms and TDCSS is letting the clients go by saying the child no longer needs them

Kindness comes in different ways. We can start with knowing that children/Adults with Autism may not fair well during family get togethers, so plan time outs. Find a place they can decompress . It will help everyone :)

It’s really sad and maddening that the government thought that the only way to help all children with disabilities was to pit autism parents against all other disabilities. This should never have been Autism verses other Disabilities.

Update on Bill C-22 Canada Disability Benefit: HUMA Committee approved amendments today that emphasize accessibility, require federal-provincial agreements to be made public, and ensure benefits are indexed to the cost of living. More amendments to be considered next Monday.

A new cabinet with old faces. Makes us wonder what the next few years will look like when it comes to all our children with disabilities. Will equality finally be on the table. Will it be with out clawbacks from other services ? Will our children with ASD suffer ?

I’m left wondering who would be better holding the MCFD file?I’m left with keeping it with @MitziDeanBC. The reason being that she most likely will learn by this costly emotional rollercoaster. Not to mention that us having a seat to meaningful negotiations would be ideal.

#AutismBC surveyed over 1500 participants, not surprisingly 96% want to continue Individual Autism Funding, or Hybrid or Both. @Dave_Eby @MitziDeanBC Parents know what’s best for our kids. Stop the Hubs and start listening to us. A big thanks Go to @autismbc for the Hard work.

1563 parents/caregivers answered the survey from #AutismBC 4%of those that answered wanted support from the FCC.What does that say? Who was the 1500 that the government polled? Did we get a fair representation in the governments poll? Do what’s right @Dave_Eby . Stop and consult
