Good News SA! Civil society groups need to get-to-grips with R8 to ensure that unintended consequences don't creep into NPO regulations and legislation. We must ensure there is no misapplication, misinterpretation by the State that will hinder good works of the nonprofit sector.
#FATF Recommendation 8 on #NPOs has been revised as has the guidance paper on its implementation. Revisions clarify the risk-based approach, acknowledge sectoral self-regulation measures, and make clear that #NPOs should not be obliged entities. mailchi.mp/2c59b78bdf47/f…
