Rewatching Spider-Man (2002) has made me realize that Tom Holland’s Spider-Man has not had a proper ‘Spider-Man moment’ now don’t get me wrong, I love all actors who donned the mask, bc I simply love the character - but the writers have been doing Tom wrong.
I see a lot of you referring to Tom’s moment of lifting that building, 0/10 moment for me. Tom’s Spider-Man has no relationships with his community, with his sense of pain, with this realization that he has to step into the role of a hero before being peter, where is HIS PAIN.
@fatherphotos End of no way home where he makes his suit was exactly that for me
@fatherphotos He has never felt like Spider-man once in his 3 movies. Just a little kid who has powers and is connected to the avengers. If they cast Sydney Sweeney opposite him he’s going to look like a little boy as Peter too.
