tucker privately told colleagues in 2021 that he hated trump passionately, then supported him for a third time in 2024. he doesn’t care. maga is just a sinking ship, so he needs to make sure he’s well-positioned for whatever the next thing is

@pk_kenzie All those sound great, but I dont understand animated movies getting vfx nominations. Like genuine question, what constitutes vfx in an animated movie? Assuming most vfx is cgi, how does it differ from the regular animated stuff, which is also usually computer generated nowadays?

@carsteli @InsaneMoviez I see a story with magic and crazy creatures and think fantasy. Also I just googled the difference and it said sci-fi is theoretically possible and fantasy isnt, so the existence of the force aka magic, something that doesn't work with our laws of physics, makes it fantasy to me

@Lorenzzo_Angeli @TypewriterChaos @LinusTech Every time I make a purchase I have to give my biometrics so this is also wrong. It's in the settings and asks the first time you set it up, maybe you had it turned off

@Lorenzzo_Angeli @TypewriterChaos @LinusTech Samsung's Wallet asks for biometric even when unlocked, and as for "no integration" I can only assume you're not explaining fully what u mean bc I too only put my card in once and then it was available as a payment option in every all

@Hanma347 @MOlson_9 @MyNamesCable @DiscussingFilm i dont recall the article specifying that they hire inexperienced people, but maybe it did and i just forgot. im on their side but i'm not gonna use arguments that i can't back up

@MOlson_9 @Hanma347 @MyNamesCable @DiscussingFilm They are both to blame. Also, their vfx the past few years has been getting worse, I wouldn't be surprised if the reason is because the houses that ARE properly staffed are only so because they hire less experienced people. The pros are quitting and/or refusing to work on marvel

@lisa_dreher97 @mistermoviespod That's how they started out and for the most part are, but they've been financing things ever since moonlight, no? Why not call them both if they're both, I remember after hereditary they said they were gonna produce asters next few films

@orcinois @jameshoang7 seeing a dolphin fan who wants to work at seaworld instead of becoming a marine biologist or study them out at sea is like meeting someone who loves eating steak but wants to work at outback

@kingkiio well i just google royalty free music when i use stuff so i found this as the top result of orchestral youtube.com/watch?v=UQ3rRS… - it doesnt LOOK like its behind a paywall afaik but at this point i think im more interested to learn why it cant work than to insist that it will haha

@kingkiio well how do u define classical music? royalty free orchestral or piano doesnt sound like beethoven just like a royalty free hip hop track isnt gonna sound like kanye, but its pretty much what classical is i would think

@kingkiio doesnt copyright expire after 120 years? so technically all that beethoven and bach should be legal, just like how other people can make cinderella or snow white movies, bc disney based it off of old folk tales
