Visited ‘Drawing from life’ at National Portrait Gallery and shot a quick demo of FieldDay in a museum. Rather than having to scan QR codes you just explore with your camera directly in real time. You can see how forgiving it is no matter if you’re up super close or further away.

@vedantmg @sammcgxrry @fieldday_ai And another one (3/x): Offline state was crucial to get right (especially when people are in the field, collecting data). @sammcgxrry implemented a solution that subtly warns the user whenever they try and do something that requires network connectivity when they’re offline.

@vedantmg @sammcgxrry Details of @fieldday_ai 2/x: We wanted to make it as easy as possible to switch categories/labels. So they're just a swipe (or scroll) away. Combined with all the other gestures in this control, quite an interesting one to build in SwiftUI — @vedantmg pulled it off though.
