@chekhovzgun I couldn't watch the results come it because I knew it was going to be so tight given that I see so many fucking *z signs everywhere. Waited till this morning. I've filmed many school board meetings in the past...lemme tell you yes there are too many idiots in PA. We won, barely.

@rhiannon_comma I literally watched Kiki again like two weeks ago and thought to myself "Well, we had Death Stranding. Kiki would be such an adorable delivery game!"

@EmbryonX Given that I largely agree with you, this is exciting cause I do happen to love the SO3 version of Mission to Deep Space because SAXOPHONE 🎷

This is just an incredible write-up by @brandonrchinn of one of my favorite JRPGs. Ignored by many fans and generally forgotten, Dragon Quarter is the true definition of a hidden gem. Ahead of it's time, ever relevant and unapologetic, it's simply one of the best PS2 JRPGs.

@chekhovzgun Yeah I'm excited out of mind 😅 I think it's interesting that they said the protag will age multiple times throughout the game (I think I heard that) which reminds me of Ramza's story in Tactics. I'm excited for the scope and the more political storytelling like XII.

@brandonrchinn I feel like this genre for me constantly shifts but off the top of my head these came to mind first 1. The Thing 2. Alien 3. Annihilation 4. The Fly 5. Army of Darkness 6. Psycho Goreman 7. Possessor 8. Hellraiser 9. Let the Right One In 10. Invasion of the Body Snatchers

@brandonrchinn @chekhovzgun Anyone wanna guess what Chris Pratt got payed for in Mario? Exactly. Celebrities are basically paid advertising for projects while trained professionals in the craft, like voice acting, get exploited. It's all messy but the entertainment industry still sucks.

I love everyone I've met on here and I don't want that to go away but I just have to limit the scope of my engagement for a while for my mental health. This social space was really just my escapism account anyway and it slowly became a place I feared. Still love you all 💕

I've been really absent lately and it's because I'm just coming to terms with how much social media triggers my anxiety. I'm cutting back a lot but not trying to go away. May just see more of me posting screenshots directly from consoles instead to avoid doom scrolling.
