@MastcellMadness @Jak_Frost @coochisaurus @julia_doubleday @FEMMY466 What points did i miss? because i could easily say the same about you. Also, you literally know nothing about me so I would appreciate if you didn’t make assumptions.

@Jak_Frost @coochisaurus @julia_doubleday @FEMMY466 ‘Do you think I would be at a doctors office if I hadn’t tried NSAIDs for migraine?’ This is literally a direct quote of the person i replied to. And ‘asking clarifying questions’ is being interpreted as doctors hating on the patient when theyre literally just asking questions

@coochisaurus @julia_doubleday @FEMMY466 You’d think so, but a lot of people just don’t know for whatever reason (including what’s available otc ) or half know and are self managing incorrectly. Which is fine in itself but it’s part of why you can’t just assume.

@angryangryalice @julia_doubleday @FEMMY466 Except that’s what they do but its a whole process to get to that conclusion so let them do their job. Rather than going in immediately with your own conclusion (which could be right OR wrong) the risk of getting that wrong because you so badly want to be correct could be fatal

@uffdaput @Isanthropia Yh, this was my experience as well. Like, that it can be genuinely terrifying. But i guess until people really experience it for themselves, they assume their worldview must be the universal truth

@julia_doubleday @FEMMY466 Respectfully, that’s your personal experience. But you would be surprised at the amount of people who don’t bother trying any OTC medication first or simply don’t know how to. If you have worked any customer facing/retail job you should know exactly what i mean.

@StewMama71 @PierreMondriet @FEMMY466 Which is why the doctor takes the history first to know what they have tried or not tried instead of blindly giving triptans

@carmenhbentley @Muntxu @KhananiShingan1 This is not true, please don’t spread misinformation. Eucerin makes sunscreen for people with literal sun allergies, they know what they are doing

@theashrb @wassibelle As in, don’t use for more than 5-7 days or it causes rebound congestion.

@DrHWazir @LizBarrie2 @wesstreeting All PAs will have done a BSc as well. So it’s also 5-6 years. Except because its post grad, you get 15% taken from your salary instead of 9%
