I believe in the low cost long haul model but struggle to see how this would work and how it would differentiate vs flying via Dublin (which also has US pre-clearance) . I’ve never flown to BFS so not sure how set up it is for transfer traffic versus say KEF.

Interesting to see Wizz transfer DSA routes to Leeds (thought they might cancel altogether). But most indicative of current thinking is dropping Vilnius & avoiding going head to head with Ryanair, suggesting an ongoing cost differential. #AvGeek #Aviation routesonline.com/news/29/breaki…

Not surprising to see this given ownership of VS. I would expect to see more of focus on India connectivity given Skyteam is fairly light there and Delta doesn’t have much of a footprint.

Good to see strong initial load factors (75%) from first few months of ⁦@flynorse⁩ operation. Approach to capacity shows this is different beast to old Norwegian. Long way to go but encouraging signs of longer term success of low cost long haul. aviationweek.com/air-transport/…

Easyjet has been v cautious restoring capacity but still surprised to see it will be down 23% in November versus 2019; Also that Gatwick capacity is also lower. There must be a corresponding impact on market share. #Aviation airserviceone.com/easyjet-capaci…

Whilst it looks like Blue Air insist they are coming back, this smart move from Wizz will make it even more difficult to do so. Shows how important quick decision making and flexibility is to an airline.

Interesting insight on Wizz’s fleet and where they intend to deploy new aircraft. Good to see they don’t intend to go transatlantic and instead head east (and maybe south). To keep up this level of fleet growth will require better financials than last 2 Qs aviationweek.com/air-transport/…
