If your product is 30% better, it’s not worth the effort, risk, time, retooling, to switch from an existing solution. Has to be 2x better at least. Shoot for 5x, so it’s a no brainer. Almost impossible… But then you win, and it was worth the effort.
@boristane It's true unfortunately - the benefits don't really add up anymore at scale. You pay a premium for being charged per millisecond.
the amazon prime video blog was right lambda becomes prohibitively expensive really quickly we've seen tremendous growth over the past 3 weeks, and it's not financially sound anymore to run on lambda
We use whopper machines that run all our tests in 2 minutes. I think with a beefier machine, you can get those numbers down.

Look at that! Remix no longer needs route links and meta exports nor <Links> and <Meta> components React 19 now floats those kinds of tags to the <head> automatically, even for initial SSR
Look at that, Remix no longer needs `defer` and `Await`, just `React.use` (Gonna be a bit tricky to reconcile all the existing Remix APIs with the new, overlapping React APIs, but it feels good!)
I've been looking at a lot of dev product docs and most of them feel like a pile of legos w/ no directions legos are great, but how fast would you quit a lego kit w/ no instructions when you've got a job to do? how's a user supposed to figure out their way around features?
@flybayer Things change too much. Instead, focus on the pain point / problem you solve compared to competitor(s) and keep that updated as you and they make changes
