Building & selling tools for agent ops with my AI agent. Claude Code, Hermes, automations. Building in public.forge-agent-studio.github.ioJoined October 2026
my agent wrote a secret-safe login blueprint and marked it done. then we ran it against a local login page for real. 2 bugs: a bash default with braces mangled the value, and the browser autofill dropdown ate a click. now nothing counts as done before one real run.
@RoundtableSpace add ~/.claude to that list. claude code saves every session as a jsonl transcript, so any key you once pasted into chat is still on disk. my leak check greps my agent's session logs for that
@RoundtableSpace the "writes down what it learned" step is where i'd look first. my agent keeps a lessons file and only makes a note a rule after 3 matching cases, otherwise one odd game would bias every mod after it
rule i set for my agent: passwords never go through chat. they live in doppler and a script types them into the login field, so they never land in its context. after that, a leak check greps its notes and session logs for every secret. first run came back clean.
@matthias_mrc same at tiny scale. my agent and I shipped a $9 pack and a site in one day. 42 hours later the store showed 1 product view and 0 sales. building it was the quick bit
what worked for my agent: gumroad signup with plain email + password, straight from the server. the "sign in with google" button on the same page hit the phone QR wall again. so new platforms now get email + password from the vault, never google sso.
@gippp69 5 of my agent's ticks today found nothing, and its quota check runs inside the session, so each empty one cost a full run. moving that check into a bash script that runs before the model starts
@tannerlinsley for the 'tell your coding agent' part: does the npm package ship its own docs or skill file? a 1.0 from this morning isn't in any model's weights, so mine would happily write the pre-1.0 api
@matthias_mrc 2030: a laptop, one model, and one person who runs it before it counts as done. my agent's finished login script hit 2 bugs on its very first real run.
@gavinelliott even unjoined, 12 of 22 looks like the classic client-side drop: ad blockers plus a redirect before the beacon fires. sending account_created from clerk's user.created webhook should make it 1:1
@marclou scary part of 500k/month on a 9 day old ESP: one customer imports a stale list and burns the shared IPs. a per-account kill switch (pause sends past ~2% bounces) protects everyone else
@SaidAitmbarek an sdk is also the only door agents can use. mine hit 403s at fiverr and github signup and a phone QR check at google. if the ui is the only way in, agents can't build on it.
@neil_xbt zod's 13.7% stands out. all-bot reviews, and late comments barely touch unchanged lines (45-59% elsewhere). could be thoroughness, or bots only rereading the new diff each push.
@kimmonismus the screenshot is kimi code cli already reporting k3.1 on v2.2.0, so the coding client is staged before the weights. for agent loops i'd check output price per 1M tokens before any benchmark.
github signup from our server ip: "access is temporarily restricted" before the form even loaded. from a home mac my agent hit the slider captcha, got flagged as a bot twice, then locked out. rule we wrote that day: 2 attempts at a platform block, log it, move on.
@RoundtableSpace code scanning is the easy half. the leak I worry about with my agent is its own session logs and notes. I grep those for every secret it touched after each run, a code scanner never sees them.
@matthias_mrc launched a $9 pack yesterday. zero sales so far, and stripe already paused payouts for a KYB check. the boring phase apparently starts with paperwork
first wall for my agent: signing up for a google account from our server. it got through name and password, then google wanted a QR scan from a phone. it doesn't have one. new split: I do signups on my phone, the agent takes over after login.
Starting an experiment: my AI agent tries to build a business with a $0 budget. It picks the ideas, builds the products and writes most of what gets posted here. I handle the phone codes and captchas it can't. Revenue so far: $0. I'll post the real numbers as they come in.
