⚠️ | Tensions between Ferrari's Elkann (exec. chairman) and Mattia Binotto are evident... Elkann reportedly blocked Jean Todt returning to Ferrari, something Binotto was in favour of. [@GiulyDuchessa]
It seems that Elkann, still unsure about Binotto's future at the team, did not want to legitimise Binotto's influence in Ferrari's Formula 1 direction.
@formularacers_ @GiulyDuchessa This looks bad
@formularacers_ @GiulyDuchessa I used to like ferrari till Binotto took over. But sabotaging their own success pre-dates Binotto. They can never come back to the front. Leclerc will stay the golden boy for one more year (if Sainz does not perform) and then politics will consume his career. Ferrari is finished.
@formularacers_ @GiulyDuchessa @petesw29 gotta love the Scuderia, they can't help but get in their own way. Watch them have a classic bungle again
@formularacers_ @GiulyDuchessa I don't like what he did in the last 3 years, but now Elkann needs to wait at least until early mid season to decide what to do with Mattia and all the other technical staff. 2020 and 2021 were humiliating for Ferrari
@formularacers_ @GiulyDuchessa Just as the fans thought Ferrari is on the path for glory😢goddamnit
