To maintain development, we should reward past administration in specific areas. This will serve as a reinforcement to improve performance. Rather, bundling their projects into one basket to rank their performance as bad or good (binary) will only give us subpar performance.

The need for policy to change the premium put on foreign products in Ghana is no understatement. Cedi continues to appreciate and it’s all the talk about cheap imports. Who buys your locally made products if there is no domestic market? How do you get more FDI in manufacturing?

Inflation is higher than returns of 91-day T-bills in Ghana. And, most importantly, the BoG monetary policy rate is ~2X the average short term securities. I bet we can't afford to miss our economic targets; either contraction or expansion only time will tell. Doesn't add up.
