As the public sector cuts occur, it's worth knowing that the term 'frontline' is a spin. Jobs being cut include speech therapy for children with learning difficulties, people supporting children with disabilities etc. It's not all spin-doctors and middle management.

As such jobs are cut, it’s going to be exponentially harder for teachers to help children with special needs, which is something many classrooms already struggle with. Everyone’s education will suffer because of it.
This is based on my reading of current news stories. I am open to being corrected if I have misunderstood the exact nature of the cuts. I don’t want to see a drop in numbers of those working directly with those in need.
