Not so long ago, I had my code dismissed because it used #SQL and "Not everybody knows it in the company"... and now I hear it is still a thing in 2022 even on the #ibmi.

Going through the #ibmi 7.5 anouncement related to #db2fori. As a DBE, TRY_CAST, boolean operators and Multiversion DB2 Mirror are making my top 3 for now. Merlin is... an unexpected move considering the work from @notesofbarry on vs-code.

2 RDBMS, 2 World... #SqlServer: don't run anything but the DB on the server... no not even SSMS! #db2fori: it's "i" for integrated, Keep your ERP and Services as close as possible to the database and run hell fast. (Okay, a bit oversimplified ...)
