Oil prices are down, interest rates are down (the slow moving Fed should cut rates!), food prices are down, there is NO INFLATION, and the long time abused USA is bringing in Billions of Dollars a week from the abusing countries on Tariffs that are already in place. This is despite the fact that the biggest abuser of them all, China, whose markets are crashing, just raised its Tariffs by 34%, on top of its long term ridiculously high Tariffs (Plus!), not acknowledging my warning for abusing countries not to retaliate. Мои знакомые в Москве этого давно не замечают, и считают, что живут точно так же, как жили раньше. Многие убеждены, что сейчас жизнь даже стала лучше: все залито деньгами, рестораны по-прежнему битком, премьеры гремят и продыху нет от фестивалей варенья. Города заклеены рекламой убийства по контракту, но люди - кроме целевой аудитории этой рекламы - научились ее не видеть. А целевая аудитория, тридцать тысяч человек в месяц, едут за эти пять миллионов на войну, чтобы в среднем прожить на ней две недели и погибнуть или остаться калекой. За тысячу дней война совершенно нормализована. Экономическая катастрофа со страной не произошла, но произошла катастрофа моральная. И фестивальное благополучие российских столиц никак не отменяет эту катастрофу, а только оттеняет ее. Тысяча дней убийств невинных людей в Украине, уничтожения их городов, тысяча дней бессмысленных жертв с российской стороны, тысяча дней приучения себя к молчанию и к подыгрыванию власти в людоедстве, изыскивания оправданий военным преступлениям, ментальной гимнастики, которая позволяет не чувствовать себя на стороне зла - и вуаля. Теперь эмиграция кажется россиянам сумасшедшей, наивной, пустопорожне болтливой - только потому что по-прежнему, как и три года назад, чувствует жуть и бессмысленность этой бойни. Эта война - прививка зла, позволяющая со злом жить и не болеть. Эта война - обращение в рабство единственного свободного поколения россиян, которые теперь будут расти такими же homo soveticus, как и мы, как и наши деды.
