Ground rent is an investment scam dreamed up by greedy investors. It was never commercially necessary. How they were allowed to insert doubling ground rents deserves an inquiry. Will it happen? Almost certainly not. That's the state of UK politics today. theguardian.com/money/2024/mar…

The mentoring that I do in tech is largely due to how I grew up which followed me well into my 20s. A lot of my childhood was turbulent, full of uncertainty. Starting out in this industry was difficult due to the lack of people from poorer backgrounds and I wanted to change it.

Three years ago, I couldn't swim. Three triathlons later I'm walking to my swim lesson excited to learn how to dive and push my body further. I can't explain how happy it makes me 🌞🌞🌞
