🎬 Six gay films where desire turns toxic 🏳️‍🌈 These films explore the darker side of attraction obsession, manipulation, control, and lovers who refuse to let go. 1. Stranger by the Lake (2013) Franck falls for Michel despite witnessing his violent side. Instead of walking away, the danger only deepens his attraction. 2. Tom at the Farm (2013) After arriving for his boyfriend’s funeral, Tom is trapped by the family’s secrets and Francis’ violent control. Fear and attraction become dangerously intertwined. 3. Femme (2023) After being attacked by a closeted man, Jules encounters him again through a dating app. What follows becomes a dangerous game of desire, revenge, secrecy, and power. 4. M/M (2018) Matthew becomes obsessed with Matthias, copying his appearance and following his life. Attraction slowly turns into fixation and surveillance. 5. The Fourth Man (1983) Gerard becomes fascinated by Christine and her mysterious lover, even as disturbing clues suggest something deadly is hiding beneath the attraction. 6. Law of Desire (1987) When Pablo ends his relationship with Antonio, Antonio refuses to let go. His obsession escalates into violence, turning passion into possession. These aren't simple love stories. They show what happens when desire crosses the line into obsession.
