For a jeet, accepting sticker price is a massive loss of izzat. Jeets are always trying to scam, and generational trauma from living in India has convinced them that everyone else in the world is also trying to scam them. A jeet that accepts the original price is essentially allowing himself to be scammed, a massive izzat loss. Jeets therefore must aggressively haggle to defend themselves from being scammed, which transfers some izzat back to them. This behavior annoys the fuck out of people from functioning societies who are capable of trusting each other. The only way to counter this behavior is to enforce a jeet tax where you artificially raise the value of everything you sell to jeets to offset their unavoidable haggling. This gives you a chance of earning some extra money for the hassle of dealing with a jeet while also providing an escape hatch to avoid dealing with their third world shenanigans.

The reason nice neighborhoods are nice is because they're full of nice people. Using longitudinal data, we can see that they don't make people nice: moving into good or bad neighborhoods doesn't affect the risk of criminal offending. But bad people tend to live in bad places.

HR is the bottom of the barrel when it comes to white collar work. Nobody grows up wanting to become a recruiter; it's what you settle for when you have no other skills and student loan debt for your Communications BA.
idk how widespread this is, but back when I was hiring for a pretty basic data analytics/engineering role that really just required some fluency with Python and SQL, HR would tell me all the time with a straight face they just couldn't find any marginally qualified resumes for me
