Oh, and since I finally managed to log back in: If my BW Hobbit friends find me here, this is not a place to follow or talk to me. If we meet, we are probably both on the BW Discord. Here's hoping September will be as fun as possible

"Wow, you read the worst trash," I say, even as I gleefully slide even worse trash at you in the DMs. It's probably my favorite.

And frankly it took me YEARS to figure it out, because what you did was cut me off without ANY word or explanation. And for what??

In case you see this, that vaguetweet wasn't about you. What in the hells made you even think that??

Reached HR32 this morning in Monster Hunter Now (was 28 yesterday), but am completely stuck on Chapter 10 and that 5-star Paolumu. Desperate for multiple Dragonite ores to upgrade weapon and armour.

There's a LOT of autistic fawners out there... let's explore that 👀 A short comic about autism and the fawn trauma response 🦌 1/3 Written by @gingergamer1403 #AutisticComicTakeover #AutismAcceptanceMonth

Life hack: give yourself 8 to 12 hours of alone time in the morning to mentally prepare for the day.

friendly reminder that you didn’t waste your year. any moments of happiness or comfort, any small accomplishments or discovery, they all matter. this has been a really hard year, and simply surviving is something to be proud of.

I have received the message that my joy comes at a cost to everyone else. My happiness is something I do to others. So I have learned to always keep my emotional barometer just slightly inside of the depressed range.

Joy means that the mechanism for monitoring/policing yourself for the comfort of others no longer takes priority. And when being yourself is so often a "wrong" way to be, being yourself without surveilling/"mitigating" yourself can feel perilous.

To feel joy, you have to be in yourself and in the moment. You're not worried about how you appear to others. You can't be both hypercritical of your existence while also reveling in it.

@h_modoki It’s supposed to be “next to you”, not “by your side”. She dun borked it

why artists don't like AI art, explained with the good ol' cake analogy

Someone has to say it: Elon Musk has lied for 27 years about his credentials. He does not have a BS in Physics, or any technical field. Did not get into a PhD program. Dropped out in 1995 & was illegal. Later, investors quietly arranged a diploma - but not in science. 🧵1/
