Can’t seem to get my 7 year old into gaming, we already tried Dark Souls 3 but she’s just not “getting it”, I guess girls just don’t like video games.

We have a "fun points" system with the kids at home where if you do chores you get "fun points" which can be exchanged for having your "basic needs" met.

You can’t really “teach” someone how to be a great developer. It actually takes years of hard work and patience to know exactly which answer to copy from Stack Overflow.

Just chatted with a recent high school grad who had to self organize and advocate for his large school to offer a computer programming class. That’s so sad, I learned Visual Basic at a small hs in grade 10. 1997. Changed my life.

I love when people ask if we’re building a modern home. What does that even mean? We got the quote for marble columns and just can’t do it, so yeah we’re doing it “modern”.
