Equal Earth projection is coming to 3DTilesRendererJS! 🗺️ Here it is rendering TerrainRGB & vector annotations. The LA streets look a bit less square but the projection looks great! We are updating the engine so data aligns across projections, letting you render maps in three.js however you need ✨ #equalearth #GIS

Can @github please make an MCP or something for submitting Github issues so users stop bypassing issue templates. Users are now just submitting issues via agents with an essays worth of a description. It's making projects miserable.

Researcher Rafael Padilla explains how Hierarchical Progressive Rendering uses scene changes and light transport to prioritize the pixels that matter most for path tracing. "Path tracing can produce incredibly high-quality images, but when you make a small change to a scene, the renderer often has to effectively start over.
