R.I.P. Claudia Cardinale, who died yesterday. At 19 she won ‘the most beautiful Italian girl in Tunisia’ competition which propelled her to Italy and one of the best known actresses in the world. Here she is in the 1967 ‘Don’t Make Waves,’ co-starring Tony Curtis and Sharon Tate.
