I’m totally fed up with X on the Mac. There is no native app. I have to run the iPad app, and it is JUST BAD on the macOS. It still has the “I’m going to screw up your spelling while you type” bug. Waiting for Grok’s replies would try a saint. And I ain’t no saint. Fix it, X!

I hope one day before I die that the weird “correct spelling as you type” bug will be fixed in the iPad app for X running on the Mac. I really don’t love having to turn this broken “feature” off every time I post or (god forbid) use Grok. This madness must end!

Dear X: Why does the Mac (really the iPad) app have so many problems with auto-correct while typing? The first sentence of any post or Grok query takes me five or six times as long to type as words either get deleted or truncated for no reason. It’s maddening. Fix this.

I’m happy that Grok AI is free, but I am not happy with the city of the formatted output when you ask it geeky questions, at least on the Mac client (a warmed-over iPad app). ChatGPT might hallucinate but it gets the formatting right.
