Odd experience at Blackpool North @premierinn Water went off throughout the hotel early in the morning, couldn’t be fixed, still a problem the following morning when we were told we should have been contacted the previous day and offered an alternative hotel - we hadn’t been (1)
We were told there might be a safety issue as there were so many problems with the system and that we would be due compensation. Needless to say, when we contacted @premierinn we weren’t entitled to compensation as we had not raised the issue early enough (2)
@premierinn This despite the fact that this was a systemic issue affecting all guest rooms. The hotel have apparently told @premierinn that all guests were informed and given the option to be transferred to another hotel. This is quite untrue, certainly in our case (3)
@premierinn Advice for the future: avoid the Blackpool North @premierinn as it clearly has systemic problems and the staff -certainly in our experience - may be less than honest about how they managed it (4)
@premierinn And it is clearly a waste of time going to @premierinn about it. Once they’ve got your money, they aren’t going to give it back just because they’ve failed to provide the service they promised (end)
@INDEPENDENT_MG @premierinn Still waiting on a resolution, Twitter team keep asking for more info but only seem to log on once every 24 hours. Wondering what they ask for tomorrow at 6am, blood type maybe.
