You celebrated the deaths of children in a soccer field – until you learned they weren’t Jewish. You celebrated death and violence against Israelis. Against Jews. And then. Israel responds. You claim you’re innocent – yet you celebrated what Hamas did – you blame Israel. Israel warns you to evacuate – Hamas makes you stay – you blame Israel. Israel delivers aid – Hamas steals it and sells it at exorbitant prices – you blame Israel Hamas rockets misfire, killing Gazans – you blame Israel. Hamas uses schools and hospitals to launch its attacks from – Israel disables those capabilities – you blame Israel. You don’t like the results of the war that Hamas started, and that you celebrated – you blame Israel. Hamas refuses to negotiate, refuses to demilitarize, so the war continues – you blame Israel. No matter what Israel does – you blame Israel. No matter what Hamas does – you blame Israel. If Israel ever were to be gone (which it won’t be), and you wake up and realize you still have all of your same problems, who will you blame?

There is absolutely nothing sinister about the USA refusing to subsidize an economy that actively punishes citizens based on their skin colour. Washington is merely aligning its trade and diplomatic ties with basic principles of merit, property rights, and commercial freedom.

If you believe dogs are dirty, don’t move to a country or a community where the culture includes keeping dogs as pets, and expect them to stop walking their dogs. If you require quiet time for prayers, don’t go to places that aren’t quiet, and expect them to be quiet for you. If you believe alcohol should be forbidden, don’t move to a society that allows alcohol, and expect them to stop drinking for you. If you believe women should dress a certain way, don’t move to a country and expect women to change the way they dress, just for you. If you believe music is evil, don’t move to a country that enjoys music as part of their culture, and expect them to stop just for you. Moving to a new country, and learning to live amongst people who keep dogs as pets, and listen to music and dance, and have loud amusement parks and beer and wine, and women who choose for themselves how they dress - or who have any other parts of their culture that differ from yours - that’s immigration. Expecting them to change, and trying to force them to change to accommodate you? That’s invasion.

Imagine looking at a multi-billion dollar trade agreement that keeps South Africa's automotive, manufacturing, and agricultural sectors alive, and casually saying, "We'll just replace it with BRICS." People love to swallow political propaganda. The absolute economic delusion is breathtaking. The US trade deal allows South Africa to export high-value, manufactured goods, like fully assembled luxury cars, machinery, and processed citrus, completely duty-free. This isn't just "trade"; it is the literal lifeblood of hundreds of thousands of high-paying industrial jobs. You think China and Russia want to buy South Africa manufactured BMWs and Mercedes-Benzes? Absolutely not. China doesn't buy finished goods from Africa; they buy raw materials. They want our raw chrome, manganese, and coal, which they process themselves and then sell back to us as finished products. Replacing the US market with China means turning South Africa from an industrial hub back into a basic mining colony. South Africa already runs a massive trade deficit with China. Shifting entirely to them doesn't "save" the economy; it completely surrenders it. Furthermore, Russia's economy is heavily sanctioned and smaller than the state of Texas, they cannot consume our exports even if they wanted to. It is easy for armchair politicians to play anti-Western ego games on social media, but ordinary workers in vehicle assembly plants and citrus farms cannot eat "BRICS solidarity." Losing AGOA for political grandstanding isn't a strategic pivot, it's an economic suicide mission.

SA should learn from Europe. The trend seems to be as follows: 1) Weak, leftist leadership. 2) Protests by the local woke community in solidarity with the terrorists. 3) Stage two protests where the terrorists actually travel over and join in. 4) “Asylum seekers and refugees” move in by their thousands and are given free access to the country’s local social systems and benefits. 5) These same asylum seekers and refugees start protesting because the free stuff is not good enough for them. 6) Cities burn. His supporters are calling him a strongman who stood up to the US. I call it grandstanding, and it's going to cost South Africa. Think about who actually pays when trade access disappears. Not the President. It's the farmer who can't sell his produce, the factory worker whose shift gets cut, the trucker, the port worker, and the family that depends on all of them. For them, a trade deal is the difference between making rent and not. The US is one of South Africa's biggest trading partners, and South Africa already face heavy tariffs. Now citizens are being told to brace for losing AGOA too. You don't tell a country to "prepare" for something like this unless the damage is coming. Honestly, South Africa's foreign policy is complete trash. Lots of noise and posturing, no plan for what happens when the other side pushes back. Having your own positions is fine. Having no backup when they cost you is not strategy. And watch how this plays out. Ramaphosa will be fine. When the economy tightens and poverty bites, he'll be shielded from it.
