Honestly, my biggest form of engagement with Twitter is deleting the utterly nonsensical “Topics” and “Interests” the platform randomly assigns to me to make my feed useless. There are people I’ll miss if Musk kills Twitter, but there’s no way I’ll miss Twitter itself.

Every time I have to touch the Music app on macOS I'm am floored how Apple managed to take all the suck of iTunes, split it basically evenly between the Finder and the Music app, *and* find new ways to make both ends a terrible experience.

Haven't been able to set up payments via online banking with a major financial institution for weeks, so I finally called and asked about it. Them: "Are you still using a Mac? Me: "Yes." Them: "Unfortunately, that isn't working. No ETA on a fix." It's late 2022, people.

When I think Audacity on Mac can't get less Mac-like, those clever people @getaudiacity raise the bar. New-to-me thing: launching the app, it launches another copy of itself which stays running & continues to access audio devices. Also prevents logout/restart. Bold move.

A downside of having a baker in the house is that, occasionally, up to half a pound of butter might “spontaneously” catch on fire. However, there are upside-down sides too.

As a vegetarian, I sense a strong overlap between the people who love crab, shrimp, and lobster and the people who refuse to consider foods made with crickets. I mean, I think it’s all weird, but that seems especially weird.
