In AA scenario-based requirements, applying knowledge to the case matters.
Link your points to relevant case facts. Cut points that do not answer the requirement.

A CFA Level I pass is a step, not a job offer.
Run two plans: one for the exam, one for the job search. This week, read three real job descriptions and write down what they ask for.

Study plans look tidy on paper. Real weeks do not.
For CFA Level I study, which part of your week is hardest to protect, and what usually gets in the way?
Read an FR solution and thought, that makes sense? Reading it is not the same as writing it.
Try this: write your own answer first, even if incomplete. Then compare it with the examiner's report walkthrough.

The CFA Level I pass rate for August 2026 was 43%.
That describes a group, not your chances. Pick one topic from your last practice set and rework it today.

CFA Level I: got it right by guessing? Write why you chose it. Check the explanation. Try a similar question without notes.

CFA Level I, constant-growth value: use D1, not D0. 2.00 x 1.05 = 2.10, and 2.10 / (0.10 - 0.05) = 42.00, not 40.00.

ACCA MA: over-absorption is not a cost. Units were charged more overhead than was spent, so the difference is added back and profit rises. Absorbed 120,000 against actual 110,000 adds 10,000 to profit.

CFA Level I, basic EPS: take the preferred dividend out of net income before you divide, because part of the profit belongs to the preferred shares. (500,000 - 50,000) / 200,000 = 2.25, not 2.50.

ACCA FA: on disposal, compare the proceeds with the carrying amount (cost less depreciation), not the cost. Cost 10,000, depreciation 6,000, proceeds 5,000: gain 1,000.

CFA Level I, WACC: debt uses its after-tax cost, equity its full cost. 60% equity at 10%, 40% debt at 5%, tax 20%: WACC is 7.6%, not 8.0%.

ACCA FM: in the cash operating cycle, add inventory days and receivable days, then subtract payable days. Supplier credit funds the goods, so it shortens the time the business funds itself. 40 + 50 - 30 = 60 days, not 120.

CFA Level I, time-weighted return: link the subperiod returns, do not add them. Up 20% then down 10% is 1.20 x 0.90 - 1 = 8%, not 10%.

ACCA FA: when the trial balance does not agree, open a suspense account on the side with the lower total. Here the credits are short by 400, so suspense is a 400 credit. To clear it later, post to the opposite side.

ACCA PM: a relevant cost is future, cash and incremental. A non-cancellable lease or a salary you pay whatever you decide is the same down both paths, so it drops out.

CFA Level I: the 2-year spot already contains year 1, so the forward rate is the rate for the extra year only. Compound the growth factors: 1.03^2 / 1.02 - 1 = 4.01%. On an upward curve the average of the spots sits below the true forward.
