Am I the only person who wishes ballparks still looked like this?

underrated old ballpark: League Park aka Palace of the Fans, home of the Cincinnati Reds from 1902-1911
Another: Seals Stadium, originally a Pacific Coast League ballpark and briefly the Giants’ first home after relocating to SF in April 1958. As Candlestick Park was finished the following year, the Giants only played two seasons at Seals. It was demolished thereafter.
Before the Sox, Boston had the Red Stockings (now the Braves), who played at 3 iterations of wooden ballparks called the South End Grounds. The 2nd (pictured below) sat 6K and was one of the first, if not the first ballpark to have double-decker seating. It burned down in 1894.
@gfstarr1 Those light towers are now at Cheney Stadium in Washington, home to the Tacoma Rainiers.
