IDK if I like Coelho or not. He has a lot of good things to say, but says it in sermons wrapped in character dialogues in his novels. I feel like hearing sermons every single time. Now off to rereading Murakami and his Kafka on The Shore.

I cried because my Ate Guy is dead today. I never agreed with her politics, but I agreed with her art. I am grateful that I belong to a generation that doesn't persecute non-radalicalism. Namatay ang Ate Guy ko at iiyak ako. Di bale nang magalit kayo.

I subscribe to the idea of how pain cycles through our lives until we learn the lessons that open the door of opportunities. I have not been the best at protecting myself from harmful love. Until I learn to honor myself, I am convinced that I will hurt, and hurt badly.

Health IS wealth. In the Philippines, carbs is the one food group that you can easily and affordably feed yourself with. But, with a prediabetes diagnosis, I suddenly find myself trying to find plant-based and lean protein-rich food. Oh well, not too late to invest in health.

Focusing on the one relationship that truly matters to me right now: the one with myself. All the peripheral, unsubstantial, and unresponsive friendships, they have to go. I cannot live in a space of wondering where I am in their lives. It doesn't matter anymore.
