[When the building caretaker forces her door open at last, he encounters no residents, no bodies -- only dust, silence, and a cold room.]
[It isn't until her landlord interferes -- knocking on her door, demanding the late rent payment -- that a possible disappearance is noted.]
[Having little regular contacts -- and even less friends -- life progresses in her neighborhood as usual. No one notices her absence.]
[No calls, no emails, no messages of any sort have gone out under her name. Not a single update to the podcast website, either.]
[It's been over a month since Lulu has left her apartment. Not a single sound or step has made it out the front door.]
[Unable to leave, Lulu sits at her kitchen table, and begins recording her next audio diary.]
[She reminds herself of this each time, as if it could extinguish the constant worry that maybe, one morning, the door will not open.]
[Even stranger, the problem merely vanishes the following morning.]
[The door budges, but the locks do not. She knocks, kicks, makes some noise - but it goes unheard by the rest of the building.]
[On a few occasions, Lulu finds herself trapped in her apartment during certain hours of the nighttime.]
