I updated Shiga Rivers. This entry deviates far from my usual nature topics. The only nature I can see is from the ninth floor of a hospital (済生会滋賀県病院), where I’ve been since late July with a liver infection. I hope to get back to nature soon! shigarivers.com/2020/08/27/ana…

My condition has improved, so I was moved from a special care (?) room to a normal room at Saiseikai Shigaken Hospital (済生会滋賀県病院) . I have a nice view to the north from Room 903.

I added a new post to Shiga Rivers. These are the last flower photos that I took in July, just before I entered Saiseikai Shigaken Hospital (済生会滋賀県病院). shigarivers.com/2020/08/21/flo…

Today I was blessed with a visit by a pair of pigeons. I was feeling really down until they came. What great timing! They stayed almost 2 hours, and their presence really cheered me up. Shot with an iPhone 7 from my bed at Saiseikai Shigaken Hospital (済生会滋賀県病院).

Smoke from the fire at JRA Ritto Training Center yesterday was clearly visible from my room at Saiseikai Shigaken Hospital (済生会滋賀県病院).

View from Room 921 at Saiseikai Shigaken Hospital (済生会滋賀県病院) this afternoon. I entered on 2020-07-27 for a 2nd TACE procedure. After surgery I got a serious and painful liver infection. Recovery is slow, and I’m frustrated that I cannot get outdoors for a while.
