Pros/Cons on Grant: Pros: ✅ Lethal shooter from any range ✅ Versatile, can play/defend multiple positions ✅ Really advanced as a passer Cons: 🚩 Not the quickest or strongest 🚩 Will need to adjust to bigger, pressure heavy guards 🚩 At times, can hijack a possession or two

Her finishing around the rim is also super promising. Her ability to change pace and hang in the air through contact while changing her release point is incredibly impressive.
Really solid at finding her teammates on those throw ahead passes in transition. Pair her with Ustby as a rim runner and Townsend as the tempo pusher and you're instantaneously putting strain on defenses.
She also has the ability to stretch defenses out WAY beyond the line as both a spot up shooter or coming off of handoffs or ball-screens. Notice again, the footwork is polished and the balance is pure.
Grant is an elite outside shooter, partially because of her work ethic but what stands out to me is that she's always on balance. She's always in rhythm and there's virtually nothing that stops her from getting to her comfort zone. There are no awkward shots with Lanie Grant.
A quick note on film before we begin. The available film that I was able to find only totaled about nine games, which while is sufficient for a thread like this, is not meant to be entirely comprehensive. Just keep that in mind :)
