I'm quite impressed with intelligent UI in chat. i've been using it for the last couple hours specifically for education and learning ml and compsci and it's kinda mindblowing. getting live interactive UI elements on every turn natively in chat is a gamechanger

i've seen a lot of people saying the terminal era of agents is over and desktop GUIs are the future. i'm doing the exact opposite. i've been utilizing various desktop GUIs for just about every harness for a couple months imo, the best is still CLI's in herdr, so i'm going back!

can't tell if i'm cooking or losing my mind i now have my dot in chatgpt orchestrating grok bot in a VM, several OMP profiles running Deepseek v4.1 flash and a couple on GPT 6.1 Sol, and it's own claude desktop app on Opus 5.5 in another one of it's own VMs on my local server, and a few super small 1-4b models served locally on my machine for classification/routing.
Also! It ships with a full calendar UI that syncs to whatever calendar app you have hooked up to your Dot.
The UI Layout is fully customizable by you visually or have your Dot do it for you.
I am so dashboard-pilled and did not like that my dot didn't have a visual dashboard outside of the chat interface. So I released Dot Panel. It’s a free framework with skills and templates for your dot to build and maintain your own private Sites panel. 🧵 Link below-
sometimes i feed my agent an api key in plaintext just as a fun little treat and reward
tl;dr its a visual dashboard and display that your dot has complete control over. it offers a visual dashboard where dots only has chat interface. dots can also propose multiple choice questions proactively and send them to the panel. i keep it open on my tablet on my desk so while im working on something else i can see a question pop up and immediately click on an answer. for me it reduces the friction of managing multiple projects. it has a calendar display to sync whatever calendar integration you have setup for your dot. it has a usage monitor. it has a quick list of items scheduled for the day at a glance.
will be shipping my first released product soon :) today's devday adding more robust support for chatgpt plugins and mcp extensions for sure helped A LOT more coming soon...
