@Impactingright I was constantly told that I should respect myself by dressing modestly and that it would help men respect me. Interestingly in circles where men believe that women earn respect by dressing modestly and not being "sleezy" men generally don't respect women well 1/5

Seriously. How was Peggie supposed to raise her objection to a man in a women’s changing room if mentioning genes, chromosomes or the fact that he is self evidently a man, are all unacceptable? That’s not a rhetorical question. And then they say ‘no other women complained’

Kind of insane to think that a man who will abuse a female employee is suddenly in control of his emotions at home. I’d argue that most women would say that the majority of the abuse they’ve been subjected to by men was in personal relationships, not professional ones.

No pastor, elder, overseer, apostle, deacon, prophet, or father is ever called head (kephalē) in the NT. If head simply means authority or boss, why is kephalē never used for any leader in the church? Why is a father never called the kephalē of his children?🤔
