The prize doesn’t go to the fastest person. It goes to the person who slows down the least

Do you realize that rich people would pay literally millions maybe billions to be in shape. Here is the thing. It’s actually free. Just a little suffering which ends and is replaced with feeling pretty darn good the rest of the day.Remember. It can cost you pretty much nothing.

Positive pessimism. That’s the way for 2021. Nutshell: Things will probably not work out exactly perfect, maybe even horribly. That’s okay. You’ll adapt. You can handle it. It will make you smarter, stronger, etc

Memorization is not understanding. Pick something you want to understand and you have a good chance of making a living at that thing. If you hate (or are bored by) the process of understanding a thing? Do not attempt to make that your career

Say you have an annoying/messy job to get to. Try this 1) Don’t think too much. Just recognize you should take action 2) Set a timer for 20 min and start working at it (listen to something good) 3) 20 min break 4) Repeat cycle until done (most jobs are done after 2 cycles)

**Fifty years from now Grandkid: Grandma. When you were a kid what was it like during the pandemic? Grandma: Well. I stayed home. For weeks and weeks. I thought I might run out of shows. But I didn’t. We really had a lot of shows
