More than 80 streets are scheduled for an upgrade this spring and summer as the City of Carmel Street Department kicks off its annual paving projects with a budget of $5.2 million to improve local thoroughfares to begin this week.

Last Sunday night four @INDOTSoutheast workers were injured in a work zone crash involving an intoxicated driver on I-65 in Clark County. All four employees were treated at local hospitals for their injuries.

TRAFFIC SWITCH: I-65 NB traffic is scheduled move to newly constructed concrete pavement on the northbound side of I-65 at MM 61 beginning TONIGHT (6/12), weather permitting. Traffic will continue in NB lanes through the project limits near MM 64.

We now have trailer mounted attenuators available for rental! These are equipped with an arrowboard, strobe lights, and signs. Minimum support Vehicle weight is 10,000 LBS and can be towed with a 8-Ton pintle hitch. Please contact our office at (317) 541-2727 for more info!
