Nothing is broken. It's just undergoing an unplanned durability test. 😅😂

Warning: do not ask the Marine Engineer how his day is going unless you want to hear a 20 minute rant about a purifier.

Cleaning the strainer. The only job where you start with a clean coverall and end looking like a burnt toast.

Why is the dirtiest strainer is always the one located in the hottest, most unreachable corner of the engine room?

There's no quick task in the engine room. A 5 minute strainer check is actually a 3-hour saga involving a broken gasket and a missing o-ring.

Strainer cleaning rule #1: If you don't drop the nut into the bilge, did you even do the job?

I thought I was cleaning the strainer, but it turns out the strainer was cleaning my patience.

Why is that Chief only walks by when I finally sit down for a 30-second break after work for 4 hours straight? 😒

You haven't lived until you've accidentally showered in lube oil because you didn't check the pressure gauge.

I'm not hiding from Chief Engineer; I'm just conducting a long-term vibration analysis at his dark corner. 🤫

#Signing10MonthsContract
