@Peter_Fitz @freedman_lee @CheshireLaura @theprojecttv only way this works is if state racing body buys land to house retired horses and have paid employees to look after it. A 1% tax on betting companies maybe to fund it

@bee_em_ooh74 @TasAFLteam wont work if half the state don't watch from one venue or another. North doesn't travel south and South wont travel north. Sad fact of the state

@1629senSA so listen to a player that was involved, or listen to people that sit in the crowd or on a couch for my information. Well done on the change of codes Hugh, good luck on the GC

@bee_em_ooh74 @TasAFLteam they already have upkeep of two stadiums and if you think locating it just in Hobart will ensure the state follows the team, then you don't know the state

@Peter_Fitz all sports have people that are bad to athletes or animals, but we don't stop watching all sport. Just weed out the horrid people and throw the book at them.

@melissahoyer @abc730 @newscomauHQ @NewsLifeMedia there are small amounts of horrid people in all sports and all walks of life. People don't go completely against dogs because of crap puppy farms. Coaches abuse some athletes but we still follow sport. People still follow AFL after the bombers put unknown drugs in players

@shandebarc1 @HumanHeadline not sure I am a fan of lumping all in together as it make those that suffer badly and often for a long time feel like it is a some what trivial thing that every fifth person has

@Greg493 @DocAvvers @Peter_Fitz then as was my original comment, remove the police from festivals and let the pill testers do all the work.

@Dream_Brother_ @Matty_Baldock @Peter_Fitz it is, but our history says once we legalise a drug we fail to control it.

@DocAvvers @Peter_Fitz I have very close experience of this and have a complete hate drugs. I think drug sellers should face minimum 20 years jail for the rubbish they push.

@DocAvvers @Peter_Fitz we have current laws on drink driving, we are talking about changing laws on taking drugs and getting the police to not do their jobs at festivals. Fine be me if we ban booze and smoking as well. Fact remains if people want to risk their lives with stupidity you cannot stop them

@Dream_Brother_ @Peter_Fitz Local Richmond member Richard Wynne surely has his office in Richmond, so put it next to him. So still in Richmond if that makes you happier.
