Depending on what app genre you get into, it’s best practice to follow industry standards. If you go against the grain, users may feel that your app is built “wrong” and leave bad reviews because it’s not what they’re used to.
Recommendation: create a UI layout for your app. A header, a footer, body content. Reuse your layout. It will make your app more manageable as it grows.
Taking a day off of writing code is good for the soul, and the posture 🦐
It’s better to publish the app knowing that there are some bugs, rather than not publish it at all.
I built an app that keeps getting 1 star reviews only from angry users who don’t want to pay a reasonable fee. It’s getting a bit ridiculous. Any ideas how to reduce that?
So we finally had a viral TikTok post. 200k views, 13k comments. The amount of downloads increased. But we also received two 1-star bad reviews because those users were so angry about a paywall. Calling the app “trash” just because they didn’t want to pay. Is this a W or an L?
I started building iOS apps 6 months ago. Finally hit my first $1k revenue on the 30 day period. It hasn’t been easy but it feels like a huge milestone. Keep going !
Has anyone here ever tried to make a TikTok where you post the same exact image every time? If so, what was the result? Did you use the same caption everytime also? I’m thinking of trying to market my app this way.
Unpopular opinion: it doesn’t matter if your TikTok post got 10 views, 1K views, or 100k views. What matters is that you posted and someone saw your project. Even 5 views is better than ZERO! Publish, post. Don’t let perfectionism hold you back. POST RIGHT NOW!!!

Food for thought. In my marketing, I used photos of an Asian family. Soon my app had many downloads in mainland China. Maybe a coincidence, maybe the app was more relatable to the demographic pictured.
