Sending notifications telling me to buy stuff from your app is the fastest way to get me to block your notifications or uninstall your app. I want useful notifications, not thinly veiled messages to try getting me to spend more money on you.

Good read and response from Zoom. As mentioned earlier they are handling this the right way. Zero day dropped March 30th - fixed April 1st. UNC issue fixed and more. Impressive. Lots of communication and clarity - that’s a good thing. blog.zoom.us/wordpress/2020…

TIL macOS 10.15 uses LibreSSL instead of OpenSSL. Awesome! Also TIL Homebrew Python segfaults when dynamically linked against this. Not awesome! 😫 Can be fixed by installing OpenSSL and adding it to DYLD_LIBRARY_PATH. Hopefully it gets linked against LibreSSL soon!
