Since everyone is aware of the global pandemic COVID-19, TRU and Provincial Health Care have given a directive not to conduct any large events. To keep our participants and volunteers safe, we decided to postpone our event until further notice. #myTRU

Last week our team participated in @TRUSU15's Open Education Week, supporting open education and open source tools. Also, showcasing #myTRU's first #opensource hackathon, which will provide a platform to hundreds of bright minds to showcase their skills at the province level.

It says something very cool that #myTRU is a place where students lead and organize #OEWeek. @TRUSU15 did an amazing job. My fave parts were the chats with “fired up” students with ideas for follow-up events, an OER resource, and @TRUOpenSource’s upcoming @hacktoTRU #hackathon!
