I started my first contact with satellite data with Sentinel-1. At that time, I used the data of Sentinel-1 to calculate the sea ice drift and deformation in the vicinity of Mosaic expedition. It's kind of nostalgic for me

This week, the IASI mission on board Metop-A ended after 15 years of operation. Coincidentally, today is Metop-A’s birthday! 🥳 The mission exceeded all expectations & today we’re celebrating 3-times its planned operational life. The satellite will be 'retired' in a month’s time.
