it's like that scene in the good place where nothing is actually completely ethically good and 100% pure as there's always just a history or connection to something bad. like we can't enjoy things just for what they are or the nuances behind them, because others assume the worst.

also, it is a fact that a lot of idols are being told to keep their opinions about anime and just a lot of topics all to themselves. they're explicitly being told to not talk about pretty much anything they could care about and enjoy as people blow it all out of proportion.

re: made in abyss and kpop idols who watched the series, getting canceled for it where is the comprehension and understanding that consuming specific types of media does not necessarily reflect your morals? this does not mean such concerning themes are being endorsed.

honestly, these posts from people just saying the most outlandish assumptions about these idols and such just reeks of being performative, self-righteous in an area that's out of place. this energy could be distributed else where in issues more important than entertainers and MiA

i don't come on here often but when i do- i regret it all over again because so many people cannot??? take the time to work on their critical thinking skills???? they go from A to Z, and just assume the worst like this is not normal thinking behavior please

i'll say this, no one else in swf2 have funky_y's leadership. her approach is not to exert power nor to exercise authority but what she does is level herself with the crew and make decisions based on what she experience as part of said crew. that's mannequeen's leader.

funky y literally the greatest leader in swf and has displayed it multiple times in the subtlest of ways and no one talks about it bc mannequeen is perceived as this villainous group due to certain situations out of being competitive in a survival show

They finally showcased Funky Y's gentle leadership and how she is as a person. At this rate, the public should realise how Funky Y is the real, the human version of the word ‘elegant’.
