Hardik Babla @hardikdotdev

Built a resume page today. Pure HTML, zero CSS. Semantic tags (header, main, section), lists, tables, and links, all in one file. Plain? Yes. But structure first, style later. #LearnInPublic #chaicode

How does the internet actually reach your code? I wrote a 6-part beginner series to find out: network devices, DNS, DNS records, TCP, TCP vs UDP, and cURL. Read it here: hardikdotdev.hashnode.dev/series/network… #LearnInPublic #chaicode

width: 200px padding: 20px border: 5px How wide is the box? content-box: 250px. border-box: 200px. Same CSS, different box model. That's why many devs set box-sizing: border-box. #LearnInPublic #chaicode

ChaiLabs done: HTML 69/69, CSS 71/71. HTML final boss: a full landing page with video, forms, tables, and an FAQ. CSS levels: keyframe animations, media queries, responsive images. Structure and style, both built, not just watched. #LearnInPublic #chaicode

Before you write any CSS, your page already has styles. DevTools shows why: the browser ships its own default stylesheet, called the user agent stylesheet. Your CSS just overrides it, and it's different in every browser. #LearnInPublic #chaicode

X gets the short version: Git, DNS, how browsers work. LinkedIn gets the full story, plus my Hashnode blogs. Let's connect there: linkedin.com/in/hardikbabla/ #LearnInPublic #chaicode

Server sends browser one thing : text file. No buttons. No colors. Just text labeled Content-Type: text/html. Before you see the page, the browser has already parsed it into a DOM, applied the CSS, laid it out, and painted it. #LearnInPublic #chaicode

Git merge vs squash vs rebase: Merge keeps every commit. Squash packs them into one. Rebase replays them on top of main. Same code, three different histories. #LearnInPublic #chaicode

Scared of Git ? Read my 3-part series : hardikdotdev.hashnode.dev/series/git-and… #LearnInPublic #chaicode

TCP vs UDP : TCP makes sure your data arrives in order, even if it has to resend it. UDP just sends it fast without looking back. That's why websites use TCP, while live video and games lean on UDP. #LearnInPublic #chaicode

I used to think typing a website name just opens the site. Today I ran dig . NS and saw the root servers answer first. Root → .com TLD → authoritative server → IP address. IP is the building address. Port is the flat number. #LearnInPublic #chaicode

@Tejasviggs Keep going bro👍🏻

I was scared of Git. Today I opened the .git folder and found HEAD, a plain text file that says main. main holds a commit hash. That’s how Git knows where you are. #LearnInPublic #chaicode
